Our Story

What began as a simple hobby between a mother and daughter has blossomed into a heartfelt family tradition. In the beginning, our kitchen was our workshop, just the two of us pouring candles in small batches, experimenting with scents, and laughing through our early mistakes.

Like many hobbyists, we first worked with paraffin and soy wax, but something felt missing. We longed for a more natural, timeless way. It was my husband who suggested tallow, an age-old ingredient once cherished for its clean, steady burn and nourishing properties.

That single shift changed everything and sparked the vision for what would become Vale of Ember Co.

Today, every candle, snap bar wax melt, and handcrafted item is made with care, scented or designed with natural ingredients, and created to bring warmth, beauty, and joy into your home.
